With a slimmer, thinner design, Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition has been launched

Samsung has launched a special edition of its foldable smartphone, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition, offering a slimmer and lighter design compared to the standard model released earlier this year. This upgraded version also brings several improvements to both its camera and display, setting it apart as a premium option in Samsung’s foldable lineup. Available in select countries, this special edition offers a refined and enhanced experience for users.

In terms of pricing, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition is listed at KRW 2,789,600 in South Korea, which is roughly Rs. 170,000. It will be offered in a single configuration, boasting 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The device comes in a striking “Black Shadow” color. Sales for the special edition will begin on October 25, and it will be available through Samsung’s official website and other retailers like T Direct Shop, KT, and Eu+. Buyers who opt for this model will also benefit from discount vouchers on other Samsung products, including the Galaxy Ring, Galaxy Watch Ultra, Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition comes with larger displays than its predecessor. TThe external display is 6.5 inches in size, and the inside screen is 8 inches. These dimensions are a slight upgrade from the standard model, which offers a 7.6-inch internal and 6.3-inch external display. The outer display has a 21:9 aspect ratio, while the internal screen offers a 20:18 ratio. Ergonomic improvements make this version 1.5mm thinner and 3g lighter than the regular Galaxy Z Fold 6, giving it a thickness of 10.6mm and a weight of 236g. A key enhancement lies in the camera, where the main wide-angle lens now features a 200-megapixel upgrade, while the other lenses remain the same as the standard version.

The Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy processor, with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage to ensure powerful performance.
