The worldwide markets have seen the release of the Vivo Y28s 5G. The official website of the company has it listed. The gadget had already obtained important certifications that disclosed some important information and alluded to its impending release. It is the follow-up to the Vivo Y27s that were introduced in November of last year. The smartphone has respectable specs.
Vivo Y28s 5G specifications and features
The 6.5-inch LCD screen of the Vivo Y28s 5G features a prominent bottom chin and a waterdrop notch. It has a peak brightness of 840 nits, a refresh rate of 90 Hz, and an HD+ resolution. The phone’s power button contains a fingerprint scanner that is positioned on the side. A rectangular rear camera module is present. The gadget has an IP64 water resistance rating.
With its dual-rear camera configuration, the Vivo Y28s 5G is equipped with a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary lens. There is an 8MP selfie camera up front. It has built-in filters and Night Mode.
The Vivo Y28s 5G has a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 CPU inside of phone. It comes with up to 256GB of storage and 8GB of RAM. The microSD card slot allows for storage expansion up to 1TB in case of need. A 5,000mAh battery unit that supports 15W charging powers the smartphone. The specifications page states that a bundled charger is not available for the markets in Europe, Malaysia, Taiwan, or Thailand. In terms of software, the tablet comes pre-installed with Android 14, which is based on Funtouch OS 14. The Y28s 5G has dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth, USB-C port, 5G, and a 3.5mm socket for connectivity.
Vivo has not disclosed the Y28s 5G smartphone’s price. Twinkle Purple and Mocha Brown are the available colours.
