The V40 Pro, Vivo’s newest smartphone, will be on sale today after just being released in India. The V40 Pro, which is a member of the new V40 series, has sophisticated features like fast charging capabilities, a high-performance processor, and Zeiss-tuned cameras.

Vivo is giving consumers who use credit and debit cards from ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank substantial discounts on the V40 Pro. Until August 31, the promotion is valid for both full payment and EMI transactions. Customers who purchase via Vivo’s online store will specifically receive an instant discount of ₹5,599 for the 12GB variant and ₹4,999 for the base variant.

With a 6.78-inch AMOLED display that supports HDR10+ and has a refresh rate of 120 Hz, the Vivo V40 Pro offers vivid images and fluid scrolling. Up to 4500 nits of peak brightness are achieved by the display. An octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ processor, 512GB of internal storage, and up to 12GB of RAM power the V40 Pro’s internal components.

The smartphone lacks a microSD card slot for extra storage but enables dual-SIM operation, including eSIM. It can also survive immersion in up to 1.5 meters of water for up to 30 minutes thanks to its IP68 water and dust resistance.

Utilising Vivo’s Funtouch 14 UI on top of Android 14, the V40 Pro boasts a powerful 5500mAh battery and supports 80W rapid charging.
