Tyrese Gibson, a veteran of Fast & Furious, will star in Lionsgate’s newest criminal thriller, which will be released on Blu-ray and DVD in 1992. More than two months have passed since the Snoop Dogg-produced film debuted in theatres.
“The film follows Mercer as he desperately tries to rebuild his life and his relationship with his son amidst the turbulent 1992 L.A. uprising following the Rodney King verdict,” reads the official synopsis. “Across town, another father and son put their own strained relationship to the test as they plot a dangerous heist from the factory where Mercer works. As tensions rise in Los Angeles and chaos erupts, both families reach their boiling points when they collide.”
When is the 1992 Blu-ray and DVD Release Date?
On November 5, 1992 will finally be available for purchase on Blu-ray and DVD after its digital release. Both critics and viewers have given the film varying reviews since its premiere.

Based on Sascha Penn’s original story, Ariel Vromen directed the movie from a script she and Penn co-wrote. Alongside Scott Eastwood and Ray Liotta, the cast also includes Clé Bennett, Dylan Arnold, Christopher Ammanuel, Michael Beasley, Ori Pfeffer, Tosin Morohunfola, and Oleg Taktarov. Snoop Dogg, Gibson, and Tita served as executive producers, while Vromen, Penn, Andreas Rommel, Maurice Fadida, and Adam Kolbrenner produced it.
