With devices running Android 10 or higher, both the Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic smartwatches can be connected. The South Korean firm has finally disclosed the Indian prices for the Galaxy Watch 6 series, one day after the wearable’s formal launch.
Price and availability information for the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic in India
The base price of the Galaxy Watch 6 in India is Rs. 19,999 for the 40mm dial with Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity. The 40mm Galaxy Watch 6 with LTE connection, on the other hand, costs Rs. 33,999. However, the 44mm Galaxy Watch 6 with Bluetooth and WiFi capabilities is priced at Rs. 32,999, while the 44mm LTE version will cost Rs. 36,999.
Priced at Rs. 36,999 for the 43mm Bluetooth/WiFi edition of the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic and Rs. 40,999 for the LTE variant. The Bluetooth/WiFi version of the 47mm dial size is priced at Rs. 39,999, while the LTE version costs Rs. 43,999.
There are three color possibilities for the Galaxy Watch 6: Gold, Graphite, and Silver. The Galaxy Watch 6 Classic is available in Black and Silver color options. In India, pre-orders for the watches begin at noon today. The prices are effectively reduced for those who pre-book because they are also qualified for a cashback of Rs. 6,000 and an upgrade incentive of Rs. 4,000.
Specifications and features of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic
The Sapphire Crystal AMOLED panel of the Galaxy Watch 6 series has an Always-On-Display (AOD) function. The Exynos W930 SoC from Samsung, along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage, powers both models. One UI 5 Watch OS, based on Wear OS, is used by these wearables.
The 44mm and 47mm models have a 1.5-inch display, compared to the 40mm and 43mm models of both watches, which have a 1.3-inch screen. Numerous health features, including a heart rate and oxygen monitor, a sleep monitor, and a menstrual cycle predictor, are included with the Galaxy Watch 6 series. Any device running Android 10 or higher can use the watches.
The 40mm and 43mm watches have a 300mAH battery, while the 44mm and 47mm watches have a 425mAH battery. All of these watches allow WPC-based wireless charging. The Galaxy Watch 6 timepieces are said to last up to 30 hours on a single charge when the Always-On Display option is used.
