Vivo has expanded its S19 series with the launch of the S20 and S20 Pro smartphones in China. The latest gadgets have big batteries, strong cameras, and striking screens.
A 6.67-inch, 1.5K, 120Hz AMOLED BOE Q10 panel with 3840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming and a maximum brightness of 4500 nits is included on both phones. The S20 Pro has a quad-curved screen, whilst the S20 has a flat screen.
A 50MP autofocus front camera is included with the S20 and S20 Pro. The two variants have different back camera configurations. The S20 has two cameras: an 8MP ultra-wide angle camera and a 50MP primary camera. Conversely, the S20 Pro has a 50Mp IMX921 sensor, a 50Mp ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 50Mp IMX882 3X periscope telephoto camera with macro capabilities and CIPA4.5 camera-level image stabilisation.
The S20 Pro gets an upgrade to the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ SoC, which is a step up over the Dimensity 9200+ seen in the prior model, while the S20 keeps the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC from its predecessor.
The new Phoenix Feather Gold, which combines photolithography and embroidery expertise to create thousands of flashing lines akin to brocade, is one of the many colour options available for the S20 and S20 Pro. Each back cover of the Purple Air from the East features a unique texture with magnificent cloud artistry and a visual flow of flashing crystals. The S20 and S20 Pro have 6500mAh and 5500mAh batteries, respectively, and both enable 90W rapid charging. Both phones still have an optical fingerprint scanner, even if their profiles are thin (7.19mm for the S20).
Vivo S20 and S20 Pro: Price
The Vivo S20 (8GB+256GB) starts at 2299 yuan, or roughly Rs 26,790. The Vivo S20 Pro (12GB+256GB) base model costs 3399 yuan (Rs 39,600).
