Alia posted a video from his 92nd birthday with a touching remark. She talked about how he could complete many tasks on his own and even played with Raha, her daughter. “My grandfather. My saviour. golfed until he was 93. worked until 93. The best omelette was made. the best stories were told. performed on a violin. with his great-granddaughter, playing. He adored cricket. I adored his doodles. cherished his life to the very end and his family dearly! My heart is full of sorrow but also full of joy .. because all my grandpa did is give us joy & for that feel blessed and grateful to have been brought up by all the light he had to give! Until we meet again,” she wrote.
