Sony Introduces the LinkBuds Bluetooth Speaker, which has Stereo Connection, IPX4, and 25 Hours of Playback

Sony introduced the LinkBuds Bluetooth Speaker to the world market earlier this year. Now that the speaker has made it to the Chinese market, it can be bought.

Sony LinkBuds Speaker Specifications

The Sony LinkBuds Bluetooth speaker’s Chinese version has been specifically adjusted to accommodate Chinese music tastes. With 25 hours of playback time at 50% level, it provides continuous listening for prolonged use. With just 10 minutes of charging, the smartphone can play for 70 minutes thanks to its quick charging capability.

It has a dual-speaker system that includes a 48x56mm mid-low frequency driver that produces 12W of power and a 16mm high-frequency driver that produces 10W of power. It also has two passive radiators, which improve overall sound quality and bass response. A built-in S-Master amplifier guarantees clear and engrossing audio performance.

The speaker can connect to two devices at once thanks to its support for Bluetooth 5.2, which enables smooth connectivity and multi-point pairing. With its Auto Switch feature, music may move smoothly between the speaker and compatible Sony headphones.

Models including the WH-1000XM5, WF-1000XM5, LinkBuds Fit, LinkBuds Open, and LinkBuds S can use this feature; however, it requires the Sony Sound Connect App to be updated and configured.

With its Quick Access button, users can play their favourite songs from apps like Endel or QQ Music right away. It also allows for stereo pairing, which combines two speakers to provide surround sound.

With a built-in handle for convenience and a dedicated wireless charging dock, the speaker boasts a small and lightweight design. Additionally, it has an IPX4 rating, which protects it against common splashes.

Among the many features offered by the Sony Sound Connect App are an equaliser, Auto Play, and customisable settings for improved use. It weighs about 520g and has dimensions of 84x110x90mm.

The cost of the Sony LinkBuds Bluetooth speaker is 1,299 yuan ($178). It is currently offered for sale in China via Sony’s official channels and approved merchants, and it is available in light grey and black colour variants.
