The St. Andrews Equestrian Team won the Reserve National Champion title for the second consecutive year at the IHSA Nationals, which were held in Tryon over the weekend.
Along with the accomplishment, a number of team members finished in the top three during the May 3-5 competition.
Team Riders Results
Taking first place in Ranch Riding was Lily Roman. In Level 2 Horsemanship, she came in third as well.
Additionally, Natalie Bailey took first place in Rookie Horsemanship.
Luke Rogers placed sixth in Level 1 Horsemanship, Starr Benton got fifth in Beginner Horsemanship, and Jerica Bozio placed tenth in Open Horsemanship.
Individual Riders Results
Bozio finished ninth overall in Open Horsemanship and second in Ranch Riding.
An honourable mention was given to Benton in the Hunter Seat Introductory Level.
The head coaches of the Knights, Carla Wennberg and Cailey Culp, were with the team.
