This year’s red carpet was notably understated, with many stars choosing classic styles such as dark, floor-length gowns, column dresses, and timeless silhouettes. However, amidst the elegant sea of black outfits, there were plenty of playful and unexpected details. Laverne Cox’s vintage Alexander McQueen ensemble featured subtle gold accents, while Selena Gomez turned heads in a Ralph Lauren halter gown adorned with a sparkling pavé neckline.
One of the most striking trends of the night was the use of pink. Scottish pride was on full display with Alan Cumming and “Baby Reindeer” creator Richard Gadd, who both sported kilts, with Cumming’s plaid cummerbund doubling as a scarf.
Even those men who stuck to more classic suits added playful elements. Host Dan Levy’s Loewe suit featured a sculptural neckline, while Jonathan Bailey opted for a Giorgio Armani suit with a silky, unbuttoned shirt that added a casual yet elegant flair.
