The 13 5G and 13+ 5G, Realme’s new mid-range smartphones, were launched as anticipated. The two join the 13 Pro and 13 Pro+, another pair of mid-range phones that Realme just unveiled.
The new Realme phones—especially the Realme 13+ 5G—are undoubtedly just as fascinating as the 13 Pro series that was introduced last month, but having significantly less power.
While the vanilla model is limited to Speed Green and Dark Purple, the Realme 13+ 5G is available in four additional colour options: Victory Gold, Speed Green, and Dark Purple. Purchases of both will be accepted beginning on September 6.

For a brief while, the Realme 13+ 5G stands out due to its utilisation of MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300 Energy chipset, making it the first smartphone of its kind.
This brand-new SoC has eight cores—four Cortex A78 cores clocked at up to 2.5GHz and four Cortex A55 cores clocked at up to 2GHz—and is made utilising 4nm technology. A MediaTek NPU 655 (neural processing unit) and a Mali-G615 graphics processing unit (GPU) are also included in the chipset.
The Realme 13+ 5G is a very typical mid-range mobile phone. With a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a maximum brightness of 2,000 nits, the 6.67-inch OLED display and dual camera (50 MP Sony LYT-600 + 8 MP ultra-wide) are its standout features.
The standard Realme 13 5G device has the same display as the variant with a slightly different camera setup (50MP primary + 2MP depth). Furthermore, the 16-megapixel selfie camera on the Realme 13 5G is paired with MediaTek’s 6300 CPU.
The Realme 13 and the Realme 13+ 5G both have 5,000 mAh batteries, but the Realme 13 can only handle 45W of rapid charging.
