The filming of Vettaiyan by Rajinikanth was completed earlier in May. The Jailer star claims that the movie is currently in post-production and will be released on October 10. On the same day, Jr. NTR’s long-awaited film Devara Part 1, which co-stars Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor, would also be released theatrically, resulting in a major conflict during the Dussehra holiday. There will be an abundance of options for viewers during the festival season.
How much about Vettaiyan do they know?
Vettaiyan, Rajinikanth’s 170th feature film, is marketed as an entertainer with a message. Amitabh Bachchan, who wrapped up filming his role earlier last month, is also in the film. The last project Rajinikanth, 73, and Bachchan, 81, worked on together was the Mukul S Anand-directed Hindi movie Hum from 1991. Key parts in Vettaiyan are portrayed by Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Ritika Singh, Manju Warrier, and Dushara Vijayan.
Lal Salaam, a sports action movie, was Rajinikanth’s last appearance. Coolie will be his next target after Vettaiyan. The film is Rajinikanth’s 171st picture in his career and is supported by Sun Pictures, a production company based in Chennai.
