The musician sang a song honouring his achievement to India as MM Keeravaani and Chandrabose picked up the trophy. Deepika Padukone presented Naatu Naatu’s performance, which was headed by Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava. She described the song as a “banger,” and the subsequent performance had the crowd standing. They received a standing ovation from the attendees at the ceremony.
Everything That Breathes, directed by Shaunak Sen, sadly failed to win an Oscar. The movie received a nomination for Best Documentary Feature Film. Navalny was the winner of the honour. All the Beauty and the Bloodshed, Fire of Love, and A House Built of Splinters were the other movies nominated.

For his performance in The Whale, Brendan Fraser received the Best Actor Oscar. Best Visual Effects went to Avatar The Way of Water, while Best Sound went to Top Gun Maverick. In the Best International Film category, All Quiet on the Western Front took first place.
