A new smartphone from OPPO has been subtly shown to the Indian market. The OPPO A3x is the newest model. Despite being a low-cost option, it has remarkable features including a fast refresh rate display, robust construction suitable for the military, a strong processor, and more. Notably, as there was no A2x available in India, it appears that this is the first time the company has announced an A-series smartphone bearing the “X” label.
OPPO A3x Specifications and Features
The 6.67-inch LCD screen on the OPPO A3x has HD+ resolution. It boasts a punch-hole cutout that is centred, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits. It’s explained that the screen responds incredibly well even when your fingertips are oily or moist. The OPPO A3x is resistant to drops and shocks thanks to passing military-grade MIL-STD 810H testing. Additionally, it is said to be resistant to various liquids, so you won’t have to worry about spills on the gadget by accident. The smartphone has a squircle camera island on the back panel and a fingerprint scanner positioned on the side.
The OPPO A3x sports a 5MP front-facing selfie camera in addition to a single 8MP primary back camera.
The MediaTek Dimensity 6300 CPU powers the OPPO A3x’s hardware. It comes with 64GB and 128GB of storage capacity and 4GB of RAM. Additionally, 4GB of virtual memory is built-in. A 5,100mAh battery cell that supports 45W rapid charging powers the gadget. In terms of software, it comes pre-installed with Android 14 OS.
The base 64GB model of the OPPO A3x costs Rs 12,499 in India. The cost of the 128GB variant is Rs 13,499. Starry Purple, Sparkle Black, and Starlight White are the available colours.
