On December 26, the OnePlus Ace 5 series is now scheduled to debut in China. The standard is anticipated to debut in the global market as the OnePlus 13R, and this new lineup will initially include two phones. The business has now disclosed the colour options for the future sub-flagship phone, adding to the many other features it has already made public.
Three colour options—black, titanium, and cyan—will be available for the OnePlus 13R’s Chinese debut. While the other two will have a standard glass panel, the cyan colour option will include a ceramic back panel.
Although it’s unclear if all of these colour combinations will be offered globally, OnePlus has already made references to the 13R’s global release. The OnePlus 13 series will go on sale internationally on January 7, 2025, as disclosed in a recent teaser.
The official renders on the website verify that the OnePlus 13R will sport a flat display in addition to the colour options. With a three-camera configuration, the back of the 256 GB Pixel 9 Pro (now available on Amazon for $949) keeps the characteristic circular camera island. Although the firm hasn’t made the announcement yet, previous rumours have indicated that a 50 MP primary sensor will be included, along with an 8 MP ultrawide and a 2 MP macro.
Previous sources have also suggested that a 6.31-inch panel with a refresh rate of 120 Hz will be included on the front. Apart from that, the Ace 5 will have a customised Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 as OnePlus had previously hinted at, and the Ace 5 Pro will be a more powerful variant of the phone with the Snapdragon 8 Elite.
