The OnePlus 13, the company’s future flagship device, is expected to debut in its home market later this month, sporting the newest flagship CPU from Qualcomm.

In addition, the president of OnePlus has declared that the flagship smartphone would come pre-installed with the Android 15 operating system, which in China will run the ColorOS 15 user interface. With its earlier smartphones, OnePlus employed this tactic by providing Oppo’s ColorOS UI in China and overlaying its own OxygenOS UI in other markets. The first smartphone to run ColorOS 15, the OnePlus 13 will experience notable enhancements in scheduling and performance in addition to more fluid system-wide animations.

OnePlus 13: What to Expect

The OnePlus 13 has been verified to have a “magnetic function” for wireless charging ahead of its launch in China. This suggests that the smartphone may have a Qi2-compatible wireless charging solution similar to MagSafe. A 6000mAh battery based on the company’s Glacier Battery technology, which was unveiled earlier this year, is also anticipated to be included in the smartphone.

The smartphone from BOE will include a second-generation Oriental display with a quad-curved design and low-temperature polycrystalline oxide (LTPO) technology for dynamic refresh rate adjustments, as OnePlus previously revealed. It is anticipated that the display will handle refresh rates of up to 120 Hz and provide 2K resolution.

The OnePlus 13 is anticipated to come with a 50MP Sony LYT 808 primary camera sensor that features optical image stabilisation (OIS) in the imaging sector. A 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 50MP telephoto lens (Sony LYT-600) are rumoured to be included with the primary camera.
