New Vehicle and SUV Releases in February 2025: Expectations

The Auto Expo 2025 generated a lot of interest in cars in January, and as the second month of the year approaches, a number of automakers are continuing the pace with new releases. It’s interesting to note that all three of the next vehicles are ICE.

The Kia Syros

Everything from the Kia Syros compact SUV’s unveiling to its review has been covered since December 2024. The cost was the only unknown. The standard Syros HTK, which is situated above the Sonet and lacks HTE and HTE (O) trims, is expected to start at about Rs 10 lakh. Likewise, the top Syros HTX+ (O) may cost between Rs 15 lakh and Rs 16 lakh. The new SUV is available for pre-booking for Rs 25,000.

Kia has prioritised overall cabin spaciousness, particularly in the rear, with the Syros SUV. The larger 12.3-inch touchscreen and driver’s display, panoramic sunroof, and adjustable and ventilated rear seats are extra amenities that set this vehicle apart from the Sonet.

Two engines will be available: a 1.5-liter diesel with 116 horsepower and 250 Nm and a 1.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine with 120 horsepower and 172 Nm. Diesel’s efficiency is 17.6 kpl and 20.7 kpl (MT and AT, respectively), whereas gasoline’s ranges from 17.6 kpl (AT) to 18.2 kpl (MT).

Performance of the Audi RS Q8

Performance of the Audi RS Q8

This is the quickest SUV to date around the Nurburgring and the top variant in the Audi RS Q8 lineup. The LED Matrix headlights and OLED taillights give the bodywork a stronger appearance than the Audi Q8 facelift. While 23-inch alloy wheels are an optional upgrade, 22-inch alloy wheels are provided as standard in the UK. What features the India-specific RS Q8 will have is a matter of time.

The RS Q8 Performance is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 640 horsepower and 850 Nm. The RS Q8 Performance can now attain a high speed of nearly 305 kph and accelerate from 0 to 100 kph in 3.6 seconds. Acceleration is further increased by the incorporation of a 48V mild hybrid system. We anticipate that the RS Q8 will cost more than Rs 1.6 crore in India, and online reservations are currently available for Rs 5 lakh.

Vanquishment of Aston Martin

After six years, the Aston Martin Vanquish is making a comeback. An updated 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12 engine that generates 835 horsepower and an incredible 1,000 Nm of torque powers it. There are 170 horsepower and 200 Nm more in the Vanquish than in the Aston Martin Vantage. It can reach a high speed of 345 kph and has a 3.2-second 0-100 kph time, which is 0.3 seconds faster than the Vantage.

The DB12 served as the model for the Vanquish’s grille and headlamps. It has two sizable air vents on the bonnet, and quad exhausts and stairway-shaped LED taillights stacked vertically on the back. A new central console featuring a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system is located inside. Additionally, it features an ADAS suite, a wireless phone charger, a panoramic sunroof, a 1,170-watt 15-speaker Bowers & Wilkins music system, and a digital driver’s display of comparable size. Before options, Aston Martin might price the Vanquish at up to Rs 6 crore, ex-showroom.
