New Bluetooth locator in India: JioTag Go offers tracking for all your gadgets and keys.

Jio India has introduced its latest innovation, the JioTag Go, which marks the launch of the country’s first Android tracker compatible with Google’s Find My Device network. This Bluetooth-enabled tracker allows users to easily locate items like keys, gadgets, luggage, or even bikes through the Find My Device app on Android smartphones.

Available at a price of Rs. 1,499, the JioTag Go can be purchased from popular platforms like Amazon, JioMart, Reliance Digital, and My Jio stores. The tracker is offered in four vibrant color options—black, orange, white, and yellow—and comes equipped with a CR2032 battery, delivering an impressive battery life of up to one year.

The JioTag Go links to the Find My Device app and is made to function seamlessly with Android smartphones running Android 9 or later. Within Bluetooth range, users can utilize the app’s ‘Play Sound’ feature, which triggers the tracker to emit a beeping sound, making it easier to locate misplaced belongings. When the tracker is beyond Bluetooth range, users can rely on the Google Find My Device network, which leverages the extensive network of Android devices worldwide to pinpoint the tracker’s last known location. The app also provides a map view with a ‘Get Directions’ option, helping users navigate to the spot where their lost items were last detected.

The JioTag Go operates without the need for a SIM card, making it simple and hassle-free to use. It has effective connectivity with mobile devices thanks to Bluetooth 5.3. Its compact and lightweight design, measuring just 38.2 x 38.2 x 7.2mm and weighing 9g, makes it easy to attach to everyday items.

Earlier this year, Reliance Jio launched the JioTag Air, which works with Apple’s Find My network and supports both iPhones and Android devices. While the JioTag Air offers cross-platform compatibility, the JioTag Go caters specifically to Android users, delivering a tailored tracking solution with robust features and ease of use.
