Lotus Introduces the Indian Market to the Emira and Emeya

The Lotus Emira is a mid-engine sports car that has recently been debuted in India, offering three separate variants: the Emira Turbo, the Turbo SE, and the Emira V6. Notably, the Lotus Emira Turbo SE can reach a high speed of 290 km/h and accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just four seconds. These outstanding specs demonstrate Lotus’ commitment to speed, agility, and total driver satisfaction.

There are two engine options available for the Lotus Emira. The 3.5-liter supercharged Toyota engine that powers the Emira V6 produces 400 horsepower and up to 430 Nm of torque. It may be mated to either an automated or six-speed manual gearbox. A 2.0-liter four-cylinder variable-geometry turbocharged engine from AMG, on the other hand, is mated to an eight-speed automatic dual-clutch gearbox (DCT) in the Lotus Emira Turbo and Turbo SE. A dramatic and high-performance driving experience is guaranteed by the Turbo SE variant’s 400 horsepower and 430 Nm, which are enhanced by features like launch control and a sophisticated braking system for peak performance.

A range of personalisation choices will be available to Lotus Emira owners, such as various wheel styles and finishes, audio enhancements, and model branding. The Lotus Emira Turbo and Emira V6 come in Vivid Red as standard colours, but the Turbo SE model is available in Zinc Grey.

The initial ex-showroom price is Rs 3.22 crore, however this could alter depending on the options, variations, changes in the exchange rate, and modifications to government policies.

The Lotus Emeya can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds and from 0 to 200 km/h in 9.0 seconds thanks to its maximum power output of 675 kW (918 hp). With a 400-kW DC rapid charging capability (supporting 600A) and a maximum WLTP range of 610 km, it can be charged from 10% to 80% in just 14 minutes.

Boreal Grey, Fireglow Orange, Solar Yellow, Akoya White, Stellar Black, and Kaimu Grey are the six different colour options for the Lotus Emeya.

The initial ex-showroom price of Rs 2.34 crore is subject to change dependent on options, variants, exchange rate swings, and alterations in governmental regulations.
