Lionsgate has revealed the Bagman release date for the upcoming horror thriller starring Daisy Jones & the Six’s Sam Claflin, ahead of its trailer debut this coming Monday. Furthermore, the film’s official poster, which showcases a spooky puppet resembling a doll, has been released by the company.

What date is the Bagman release?

On September 20, Bagman is slated to premiere in theatres, where it will squarely compete with Apple’s Wolfs, starring George Clooney and Brad Pitt. Directed by Colm McCarthy, it is based on a John Hulme screenplay. Antonia Thomas, Caréll Rhoden, Steven Cree, Steven Pettigrew, Adelle Leonce, Peter McDonald, Henry Pettigrew, and Will Davis are joining Claflin. Wyck Godfrey, Isaac Klausner, John Fischer, and Marty Bowen are the producers.

“In the film, a family finds themselves ensnared in a nightmare as they are hunted by a malevolent, mythical creature,” reads the film’s synopsis. “For centuries and across cultures, parents have warned their children of the legendary Bagman, who snatches innocent children and stuffs them into his vile, rotting bag—never to be seen again. Patrick McKee narrowly escaped such an encounter as a boy, which left him with lasting scars throughout his adulthood. Now, Patrick’s childhood tormentor has returned, threatening the safety of his wife Karina and son Jake.”
