The Vivo V40, the company’s newest smartphone, is about to be released in India. The global release caught many off guard by not including a charger in the box; it seems that the Indian version is following suit. On the Indian BIS certification website, the model number “V2348,” associated with Vivo, has been observed; permission was given on June 21, 2024.

It is anticipated that the Vivo V40’s Indian variant will have the same specs as the device sold worldwide. The phone has a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with 1.5K resolution (2800 x 1260) and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Nebula Purple and Stella Silver are the two colours available.
With its dual camera setup—a 50MP f/1.9 primary camera and a 50MP f/2.0 ultra-wide-angle camera—the Vivo V40 promises to produce high-quality images and movies. The phone’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset guarantees strong performance. It comes in two configurations: 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, or 512GB of UFS 2.2 storage paired with 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM. The gadget includes an 80W rapid charging capable 5500 mAh battery.
In related news, Vivo has released the Vivo Pad 3 tablet in China. It features a sizable 12.05-inch LCD screen with a refresh rate of 144Hz and a resolution of 2.8K. The 10,000 mAh battery within it enables 44W rapid charging, and it powers the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 CPU. The brand has not yet disclosed a date for its worldwide launch.
