June 12 is when the Chinese electronics manufacturer Xiaomi plans to release the Xiaomi 14 Civi in India. The term “Cinematic Vision” (Civi) suggests that the smartphone would focus primarily on its camera, similar to earlier Xiaomi 14 series products. Most likely, the Xiaomi 14 Civi is just the Civi 4 Pro, which was released in China last month under a different name. A triple-camera system co-engineered in collaboration with German photography company Leica will be included in the smartphone.

According to the Xiaomi Global website’s Civi 4 Pro product listing page, the smartphone has a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a resolution of 2750 x 1236 (1.5K). It is a 12-bit display panel with a maximum brightness rating of 3000 nits. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, together with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of on-board storage, powers the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro. The smartphone has a 4700 mAh battery with fast wired charging up to 67W.
The Civi 4 Pro has a triple-camera setup on its back that includes an optical image stabilisation system, a 50MP primary sensor, and a Leica Summilux lens for imaging capabilities. The rear setup consists of a 12MP ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 50MP telephoto camera with autofocus. The smartphone has a 32MP camera on the front.
