Kia India is prepared to launch the Syros, its second sub-4-meter small SUV, in the nation. The Kia Syros, which was unveiled on December 19, boasts a number of innovations that are both segment-first and segment-best.

The strengthened K1 platform serves as the foundation for the Syros. The Kia distinctive digital tiger face and starmap LED headlights and DRLs are located at the front. LED taillamps in the shape of a L are present. The SUV features flush door handles, 17-inch crystal-cut alloy wheels, and puddle lighting that project the Kia emblem.
The Syros offers extra room for passengers within the cabin thanks to its comparatively longer wheelbase (2,550mm). For the first time in the sector, both the front and rear seats get air conditioning. Additionally, the second row seats have segment-first sliding and reclining adjustments, as well as a 60:40 split.
A new 30-inch Trinity panoramic display panel has been installed for the infotainment system, climate display, and instrument cluster. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a connected car navigation cockpit, alloy pedals, ambient mood lighting in 64 colours, a four-way powered driver seat, an eight-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, a wireless charger, and a dual-pane panoramic sunroof are some of the additional features.
With 16 autonomous capabilities, including lane maintain assist, forward collision avoidance assistance, a 360-degree camera with a blind view monitor, and smart cruise control with stop and go, the new SUV has Level 2 ADAS. Over 80 features are connected, and 22 controllers are automatically updated with segment-first over-the-air (OTA) software upgrades. Additionally, call center-assisted guidance is available.
Kia Syros Safety
20 safety elements are included by default with the Syros. Six airbags, electronic stability control, hill start assist control, vehicle stability management, and an automatic parking brake with auto hold are all included in the standard safety package. Additionally, Kia Connect 2.0 offers real-time diagnostics, stolen car tracking, and SOS emergency assistance.
Kia Syros Engine
The Kia Sonet has two engine options: a 1.5-liter CRDi VGT diesel (116PS/250Nm) and a Smartstream 1.0-liter T-GDi petrol (120PS/172Nm). 6-speed MT and 7-speed DCT with a gasoline engine and 6-speed MT and 6-speed AT with a diesel engine are the available gearbox options.
