In India, the OPPO F27 Pro Plus is scheduled to launch on June 12 at 2:00 PM. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer is touting this device as the first “super-rugged, monsoon-ready smartphone” in India. It is rated IP69 for dust and water ingress protection. Ahead of launch, the company stated that the OPPO F27 Pro Plus smartphone will also have a US military grade certification for build quality and a Swiss SGS five-star rating for drop protection.
OPPO F27 Pro Plus: Predictions
Dust Pink and Midnight Navy are the two colours that OPPO said will be available for the F27 Pro Plus on its official website. The back of both of these colour variations will have a leather texture with stain-resistance properties, according to the business. The F27 Pro Plus will have a 3D curved AMOLED display on the front that is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
With a triple camera arrangement on the back and a torch positioned symmetrically within a metallic ring form, the OPPO F27 Pro Plus smartphone will have a circular camera module that the company refers to as its ‘Cosmos Ring Design’.
Regarding the standout feature, OPPO has verified that its build quality meets US military standard (MIL-STD-810H method 516.8) certification and that it has received a five-star rating from Swiss SGS for drop resistance. Additionally, OPPO revealed that the F27 Pro Plus will have a USB connector, speaker apertures, a SIM card slot pinhole, and a waterproof microphone. According to OPPO, a film will be placed over the smartphone’s microphone apertures and earpiece speaker to let sound through while keeping water out. A silicone ring will be used to fasten the USB unit.
