The Urus SE plug-in hybrid SUV from Lamborghini is available in India for Rs 4.57 crore (ex-showroom). The hybrid powertrain of the Urus SE, the most potent variant of the vehicle to date, combines an electric motor, on-board battery pack, and twin-turbo V8 engine. To set it apart from the others, the Urus SE also receives a number of unique style cues over the ordinary Urus and Performante.
The Urus SE has a modified front bumper with larger-looking air intakes than the standard Urus, and it has thinner headlamps up front that are outlined by C-shaped DRLs. The SUV’s redesigned bonnet extends past the headlamps to the very tip of its snout. Other from the alloy wheels, not much appears to have changed on the side. The SUV’s bumper and tailboard have been updated, and a new vent-like feature that runs the length of the car beneath the integrated spoiler lip has also been added.

The climate control display appears to have been lowered even further and is now divided from the main display by an Alcantara or leather strip. Additionally, part of the switchgear’s placement has been altered.
The 4.0-liter twin turbo V8 beneath the hood now produces 612 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque, which is less than the 657 horsepower and 850 Nm of the Urus S. An electric motor that is included within the 8-speed automatic transmission is mated to the engine to provide an extra 189 horsepower and 483 Nm. The system’s total output is 950 Nm and 789 horsepower. With a 25.9 kWh battery pack beneath the trunk floor, the plug-in hybrid system’s electric motor enables the SUV to go 60 km on electricity alone, according to Lamborghini.
Lamborghini says to be 0.1 seconds faster than the Urus S and 0.1 seconds slower than the Urus Performante with a 0-100 kmph time of 3.4 seconds. It takes 11.2 seconds to reach 200 kmph, and it can reach a maximum speed of 312 kmph, which is quicker than both the Performante and Urus S.
Explained Lamborghini, the Urus SE also has a brand-new longitudinal torque vectoring system that is positioned in the centre and constantly transfers power between the front and rear axles. A new electronic limited-slip differential at the back is also included. The SUV also gets additional drive modes: Performance, Hybrid, EV Drive, and Recharge. These are accessible in addition to the six modes that were previously offered: Neve, Sabbia, and Terra for usage off asphalt, and Strada, Sport, and Corsa for use on roads and tracks.
