In a live session on Monday where Team Pathaan spoke to the media about the enormous success of their movie, Shah Rukh Khan was in top form. “The movie was produced around Covid. The film has received such wonderful treatment from everyone. We are incredibly appreciative of the crowd. Along with his co-stars Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, and the film’s director Siddharth Anand, Shah Rukh Khan, who plays the title role, chatted with the media.

Shah Rukh Khan’s lead performance in Pathaan is his first since 2018’s Zero. Of the four years that have passed, SRK said he did not work for a couple of years and spent them with his family. “One to two years I did not work. But I could spend time with my family and friends. I could watch my kids – Aryan, Suhana, AbRam – grow up,” he said.

Pathaan has adopted an unusual approach to marketing; this is the first time the cast has spoken to the media. Media interviews are typically used to promote new releases, however Drishyam 2 and Pathaan broke with tradition and profited greatly.
