Honda Cars India recently unveiled the first teaser for the third-generation Amaze, along with detailed sketches that hint at substantial updates to its design and features. Initially launched in 2013, followed by a second-generation in 2018, the Amaze has solidified its position as a key offering in Honda’s Indian portfolio. The 2025 iteration promises to build on this success with a thorough revamp of both exterior styling and interior functionality.

Spy images, although slightly blurry, have surfaced showcasing the front and rear designs of the new Amaze, revealing a bold, almost undisguised look. The compact sedan, slated for a 2025 release, will face stiff competition from rivals such as the new Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Hyundai Aura, and Tata Tigor. Its updated design borrows elements from Honda’s global models like the Accord and the Elevate, giving it a more premium appeal.

The front fascia of the 2025 Amaze has been completely redesigned, featuring sleek LED headlamps paired with integrated LED daytime running lights (DRLs). A sportier edge is achieved through a newly styled grille with chrome accents, while the bonnet adopts a more muscular profile to enhance the car’s dynamic aesthetics. A dominant appearance on the road is further enhanced by the redesigned front bumper and prominent fog lamp housings.

Under the hood, the new Amaze is expected to retain its trusted 1.2-liter, four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine. This powertrain delivers 90 PS of peak power and 110 Nm of torque, offering smooth performance. Buyers will continue to have the option of a five-speed manual transmission or a CVT for automatic driving convenience.

Inside, the sedan features a thoroughly revamped cabin with a refreshed dashboard design and wider rectangular HVAC vents. At the heart of the interior lies a floating touchscreen infotainment system, supported by an array of modern amenities. These include automatic climate control, a multi-functional three-spoke steering wheel, and a CVT transmission lever on the center console. Additional highlights include dual cup holders, charging ports, a wireless charging pad, and more, catering to the needs of modern-day drivers.

This third-generation Amaze aims to elevate the segment by blending Honda’s legacy of reliability with contemporary design and cutting-edge features.
