What Beta 2 Will Bring
Although it is unclear if Beta 2 will result in major UI changes, it is classified as a “Incremental Beta-quality release.” This calls for small adjustments rather than a significant redesign.
Anticipating Google I/O 2025
Android 16’s attendance at Google I/O 2025, which is set for May 20, will be closely monitored. The beta cycle is anticipated to reach Beta 4 in April, according to Google’s schedule, which would allow for a possible near-final build in May. Major Android enhancements have always been unveiled at Google I/O, but this year’s early preview cycle may change how upgrades are revealed.
