One useful new feature that Google Photos has implemented is the ability to rotate your mirror-image selfies horizontally.
The update addresses the widespread issue of photos with reversed content, which frequently occurs when using a smartphone’s front-facing camera.
When the function was initially seen in September, it seemed as though Google was introducing it to devices one at a time.
How to utilise the newly added functionality
Users will need to choose an image in Google Photos, press the Edit icon, and choose Crop tools in order to utilise the new feature.
Locate the button that flips between the options for perspective correction and rotation, then press the Save button.
Users of Google Photos could only rotate, resize, or alter an image’s aspect ratio prior to this upgrade.
Additionally, the new tool can be used to enhance the appearance of a photo, create artistic effects, or modify text within images.
At the moment, it is only available on Android
The flip function is now limited to Google Photos for Android. The tech behemoth has not said when this tool would be accessible on iOS.
In the past, users had to flip photographs using third-party apps. But now that Google Photos has this built-in feature, modifying photos is much simpler.
