Google will be introducing its foldable phone to India for the first time. The Pixel Fold was the company’s first folding phone, and it was absent from the country last year.
In India, the Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold will be on sale on August 14
It will be a part of the debut of the Pixel 9 series, which is anticipated to include the foldable phone and the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, and Pixel 9 Pro XL. On August 13, they will be introduced to international markets.
Alongside OnePlus and Tecno, the U.S.-based search engine behemoth will face off against newcomers like Vivo in the foldable market, as well as more established companies like Samsung with handsets like the Galaxy Z Fold 6.
The front punch-hole display of the Pixel 9 Pro Fold render is accompanied by a rectangular camera module that has two stacked oval-shaped lens housings.
It was powered by Google’s proprietary Tensor G2 processor, which has 512GB of inbuilt storage and 12GB of RAM. The battery was 4,821mAh.
The Pixel Fold was equipped with a 10.8MP telephoto sensor and a 10.8MP ultra-wide snapper to supplement its 48MP primary lens. The Pixel Fold included two selfie lenses. There was a 9.5MP selfie camera on the outside chassis and an 8MP camera on the inside.
Tenor G3 processors are anticipated to be used in the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. It is more likely to increase in size and brightness on the cover screen.
