Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan, along with their daughter Aaradhya Bachchan, recently made a rare public appearance together at the Mumbai airport, effectively quashing rumors of any tension in their relationship. The actor couple was seen returning from their New Year vacation, sparking interest among fans and the media alike.

In a video shared online, Abhishek was captured leaving the airport ahead of Aishwarya and Aaradhya. As paparazzi requested him to pause for photos with his wife, Abhishek continued walking towards their car while Aishwarya, following behind, took a moment to greet everyone with a cheerful “Happy New Year.” At one point, Aaradhya was seen smiling brightly after a slight jump during their walk, prompting Aishwarya to ask her if someone had nudged her. Aaradhya, however, simply smiled in response. Ensuring his family’s comfort, Abhishek waited near the car, making sure Aishwarya and Aaradhya got in safely before joining them in the vehicle. Before leaving, Aishwarya wished the gathered photographers a happy New Year, adding, “God bless.”

The family kept their travel attire casual yet stylish. Abhishek opted for a sweatshirt, black pants, and white sneakers, while Aishwarya wore a matching black sweatshirt and tights paired with sneakers. Aaradhya complemented them with her black sweatshirt, denim jeans, and shoes.

This recent outing comes after the couple attended Aaradhya’s school annual day at Dhirubhai Ambani International School last month, where they were seen together as a family. Married since 2007, Aishwarya and Abhishek welcomed Aaradhya in November 2011. Rumors of discord between the couple surfaced in July last year when Aishwarya and Aaradhya arrived separately from the rest of the Bachchan family at Anant Ambani’s wedding, leading to speculation about a possible separation.

On the professional front, Abhishek’s most recent film, I Want to Talk, directed by Shoojit Sircar, released in November last year. He will next appear in the star-studded comedy Housefull 5, set to release on June 6 this year. Aishwarya, last seen in Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan: II, has yet to announce her next project.
