After her husband, wrestler Sakshi Malik, made the outrageous statement that Congress puppets, Babita Phogat responded angrily

A day after they asserted that they had been given permission for the sit-in protest at Jantar Mantar in January, Babita Phogat criticised Sakshi Malik and Satyawart Kadian.

A day after making a shocking allegation regarding the approval of the sit-in protest at Jantar Mantar for the first time in January, Commonwealth Games gold medalist and BJP leader Sakshi Malik and her wrestler husband Satyawart Kadian came under fire on Sunday. The two wrestlers were referred to by Babita as “a puppet in the hands of the Congress”.

Leaders from different political parties, including Congress’ Priyanka Gandhi, Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal and former Jammu and Kashmir governor Satya Pal Malik visited the protest site, extending their support to the wrestlers before they were removed from Jantar Mantar on May 28.
