Salaar vs Dunki
The report claims that the collection is limited to 2D Hindi television programs. The movie will compete with Salaar: Ceasefire, starring Prabhas, which opens one day later on December 22. An additional claim on the web states that about 16,000 seats for the Hindi version of Salaar have been sold for ₹55 lakh. After 125.8K tickets were sold, the total pre-sales are estimated to be over ₹3 crores, while the Telugu performances’ advance booking has not yet started. Following the release of the film’s trailer on Monday, the numbers might increase.
“Despite not being a Mass Action movie, #SRK’s #Dunki has sold 100K tickets in advance already,” tweeted film trade analyst Ramesh Bala on Sunday night, reflecting positively on the reaction to the Shah Rukh movie.
