According to a report released by the media on Wednesday, Samsung has stated that the Galaxy AI features, which were debuted alongside the flagship Galaxy S24 series, will only be free until 2025. According to a report by ET Telecom, TM Roh, the President of Samsung’s mobile division, the company plans to provide these AI functions on its handsets for free until the end of 2025. Additionally, he said that Samsung has not yet decided how these functionalities will be made available after next year.
With AI-powered features like real-time phone call and message translation in a few languages, better image editing, content creator-focused camera effects, and Corning Gorilla Armor glass for increased display durability, the Samsung Galaxy S24 family of devices is impressive. Starting today, January 31, sales of the Galaxy S24 lineup will start.
Our research shows that there are several uses for mobile artificial intelligence. Therefore, some customers will be content to use the AI features at no cost. The newspaper quoted Roh as stating, “There may also be customers who desire and even pay for even more powerful AI capabilities.”
“The company will consider all of these factors before making any decisions regarding their AI features in the future,” he continued.
Samsung has now acknowledged that Galaxy AI capabilities are paid for with this remark from a top business executive, although there are still some remaining challenges.
The Galaxy S24 Ultra page’s footnotes on the company’s US website say that “Galaxy AI features will be provided for free on supported Samsung Galaxy devices until the end of 2025.” If third parties supply AI functionality, different terms can apply.
According to Roh last week, the South Korean tech giant plans to expand Galaxy AI to 100 million mobile devices this year in response to consumer interest in learning more about emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence (AI).
According to a recent report by news agency PTI, the phone manufacturer plans to produce its top Galaxy S24 series at its India factory for both the domestic and foreign markets. The report further stated that Raju Pullan, Senior Vice-President for Mobile Business at Samsung India, stated that the S24 series will be produced entirely in India, highlighting its importance for both domestic and international markets.
