Taking to her Instagram Stories on Monday, Kangana shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse from the sets of her upcoming project. The photo featured a clapperboard detailing the shoot day, giving fans a sneak peek into the early stages of production. In her caption, the actress expressed her joy, writing, “Nothing is more delightful than being on a film set.” The excitement surrounding this collaboration has only grown, as fans eagerly anticipate the reunion of Kangana and Madhavan, whose on-screen chemistry in the Tanu Weds Manu series was widely adored.

Meanwhile, Kangana’s directorial venture Emergency has been struggling to make an impact at the box office. Released earlier this month, the biographical drama marked its tenth day in cinemas on January 26 but has failed to pull in substantial audiences. According to Sacnilk, the film earned just ₹1.15 crore on its tenth day, bringing its total domestic collection to ₹16.70 crore, falling far short of its reported ₹60 crore budget.

In Emergency, Kangana steps into the shoes of former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, portraying her during the turbulent period of the 1970s when the Emergency was imposed across India. Despite the film’s political backdrop, Kangana clarified in earlier interviews that the movie is not a political narrative but rather a human story. “This is not about any political party. It’s a story of a historical episode. You won’t leave the film wondering who to vote for, but you will leave enlightened about that time in history,” she explained.

Although Emergency has not resonated commercially, Kangana’s focus has shifted to her next venture, which promises to bring her back into the spotlight, alongside Madhavan, in a project fans are eagerly waiting to learn more about.
