When the Find N5 makes its debut in February, OPPO will be able to push the limits of smartphone design. Recent leaks and teases have highlighted the foldable phone’s remarkable engineering accomplishments and ultra-thin profile, which has attracted a lot of attention.
Only the second smartphone in history—foldable or not—to surpass the 4 mm thickness benchmark is the OPPO Find N5, which is reportedly only 3.7 mm when unfurled.
Previously, the Mate XT Ultimate tri-fold held the honour. With this innovation, the Find N5 surpasses rivals such as the Honour Magic V3 to become the slimmest foldable to date.
Zhou Bao, the product manager for OPPO’s Find N series, recently posted images of the smartphone side by side with an iPhone 16 Pro Max, a USB Type-C connection, and even commonplace items like coins and debit cards. According to reports, one half of the Find N5 is thinner than a USB port, demonstrating its exceptional thinness.
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, which promises outstanding performance, powers the Find N5. The device’s flagship status has been further confirmed by its appearance on Geekbench, where it is identified by its model number, PKH110.
Featuring a Hasselblad camera system with three lenses and an LED flash set in a square on a circular island, the design seems to expand upon its predecessor.
The OnePlus Open 2 is anticipated to make its global premiere at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in early March, whereas the OPPO Find N5 will first be released in China.
