Game Changer, Shankar’s debut Telugu film, will hit theatres on January 10 in honour of Sankranthi. In this political action thriller, which stars Ram Charan, Kiara Advani, and SJ Suryah in the key parts, Ram will play both a father and a son.
Game Changer details
Game Changer’s trailer, which revealed details about the plot of the movie, was unveiled on Thursday. Ram portrays an IAS officer named Ram Nandan and a political figure named Appanna in the movie. Kiara is the love interest of the latter, while Anjali portrays the former’s wife.
It is implied that Ram grows up longing to realise his father’s vision of a nation free from corruption when tragedy strikes Appanna. However, Bobbili Mopidevi, Suryah’s dishonest chief minister, gets in his way. Key characters in the movie are played by Vennela Kishore, Naveen Chandra, Samuthirakani, Srikanth, Prakash Raj, Sunil, and Jayaram.
Game Changer U/A received its certification on January 2 from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The two-hour and forty-five-minute picture will be available in conventional, IMAX, 4DX, Dolby Cinema, and EPIQ formats on January 10 in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi during Sankranthi.
Ram Charan and Shankar’s Remuneration
Under the auspices of Sri Venkateswara Creations, Dil Raju and Sirish created Game Changer. Thaman S wrote the soundtrack, Sai Madhav Burra penned the dialogue, and Karthik Subbaraj authored the tale. The movie was officially released in 2021, and after a lot of delays, production was completed in 2024.
