The A5 Pro 5G, a replacement for the A3 Pro 5G, was introduced by OPPO in China. A larger battery, a new processor, and triple IP certifications are just a few of the improvements the next-generation device offers over its predecessor.
OPPO A5 Pro Specfications
The 6.7-inch (2412 x 1080 pixel) Full HD+ AMOLED screen of the OPPO A5 Pro has a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a maximum brightness of 1200 nits. It claims to be resistant to 18 different types of water and has dust and water resistance ratings of IP69, IP68, and IP66. The MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor, up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage power the device.
A 50MP dual rear camera and a 16MP selfie camera sensor are included for optics. Additionally, it has a huge 6000mAh battery with 80W SUPERVOOC Fast Charging, unlike the OPPO A3 Pro, which has a 5,100mAh battery and 45W SuperVOOC charging. Additionally, the OPPO A4 Pro is powered by ColorOS 15 and Android 15. It has a fingerprint sensor built into the screen.
OPPO A5 Pro Price and Availability
The base 8GB/256GB variant of the OPO A5 Pro costs 1999 yuan (about Rs 23,323) in China, while the top-tier 12GB/512GB model costs 2499 yuan (approximately Rs 29,157).
Sandstone Purple and New Year Red are the two colour options available. Pre-orders for the phone are currently open, and on December 27, it will go on sale in China.
There is currently no information available on the OPPO A5 Pro’s Indian launch. In June, the original A3 Pro was released, with a starting price of Rs 17,999. Because of this, we anticipate that the brand may eventually introduce the next-generation model.
