Karthi and Aravind Swamy’s Meiyazhagan will be Available for Streaming on October 27

On September 27, Meiyazhagan, a feel-good drama starring Karthi and Aravind Swamy, was premiered in theatres. The film garnered favourable reviews. “Meiyazhagan,” which was directed by Prem Kumar, tells the story of the importance of human relationships in a rural setting.

As a result of the official announcement of “Meiyazhagan’s” OTT distribution by its digital partner, the Karthi film will be available for streaming on Netflix starting on October 27. After its OTT release, “Meiyazhagan,” which has Tamil and Telugu theatrical versions, is expected to attract a wider audience. It will also have dubbed Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi versions on the digital platform.

After a few days of its theatrical debut, Meiyazhagan’s original two-hour, fifty-seven-minute length was cut by eighteen minutes. The picture will run for two hours and 38 minutes, but the uncut version will not be available for an over-the-top release. Therefore, only those who saw the unedited version of the movie will have seen the expanded version in theatres.

Director Prem Kumar demonstrated his abilities with his masterful filmmaking, while Karthi and Aravind Swamy wowed the audience with their performances in “Meiyazhagan.” Rajkiran, Sri Divya, Saran, Devadarshini, Karunakaran, and Swathi all had significant roles, and Govind Vasanda composed the soundtrack. Despite earning less than Karthi’s prior box office successes, “Meiyazhagan” was nonetheless a profitable short film for its producers.
