The Blue Lock: The Movie The impending streaming debut date for the coming-of-age sports anime film has been revealed on Crunchyroll. It is a prequel to the first season of the popular anime series, which tells the genesis story of the beloved character Seishirō Nagi.

Crunchyroll will begin streaming Blue Lock the Movie: Episode Nagi with subtitles on Thursday, October 17. This follows the movie’s June 28 theatrical debut in the United States. The voices of Kazuki Ura/Ricco Fajardo as Isagi, Yuma Uchida/Kamen Casey as Reo, Nobunaga Shimazaki/Bryson Baugus as Nagi, and Tasuku Kaito/Drew Breedlove as Bachira are featured in the anime.

The manga series of the same name by author Muneyuki Kaneshiro and illustrator Yusuke Nomura served as the inspiration for Blue Lock. Taku Kishimoto wrote the screenplay, while Shunsuke Ishikawa directed the film.
