The official trailer for IFC Films’ upcoming holiday comedy, Christmas Eve in Miller’s Point, has been released. The movie will now be released in theatres on November 8, 2024, after having its international premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in 2024.
Who is in the Christmas Eve in Miller’s Point trailer?
The ensemble cast of the movie is introduced in the trailer, which stars Michael Cera as a police officer from Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. The raucous family get-together of the Balsano family is shown in the film. The film also stars Maria Dizzia, Elsie Fisher, Francesa Scorcese, Sawyer Spielberg, Ben Shenkman, Gregg Turkington, Laura Robards, Leo Chan, and more.
In Miller’s Point, Tyler Taormina, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Eric Berger, is the director of Christmas Eve. Cera, Krista Minto, David Croley Broyles, and Duncan Sullivan are the film’s producers. IFC Films is producing it.
“On Christmas Eve, a family gathers for what could be the last holiday in their ancestral home. As the night wears on and generational tensions arise, one of the teenagers sneaks out with her friends to claim the wintry suburb for her own,” reads the synopsis.
