On August 14, at the annual 828 Fan Fest in Shenzhen, China, Realme will reveal its most recent advancements in charging technology. The business unveiled this functionality in a social media video prior to its formal debut. Chase Xu, Vice President of Realme, also made fun of it. The video, which purportedly leaked, purports to show a Realme smartphone charging from 0% to 17% in under 35 seconds.
Realme 320W supersonic charger
Realme disclosed the details of its next unique charging technique, dubbed “SuperSonic,” in a post on the Chinese social media site Weibo. With what it refers to as Super Fast Charging, it swiftly charges an unidentified smartphone in this teaser video to demonstrate its 320W capabilities.
A phone’s battery might be charged using the future charging technology from empty to 50% and 100% in less than three and five minutes, respectively, according to earlier explained.
Redmi unveiled its 300W charging technology in February 2023, allowing the 4100mAh battery of the upgraded Redmi Note 12 Discovery Edition to be fully charged in just five minutes. The general public has not, however, been able to access this technology. Francis Wang, Global Marketing Director and CEO of Realme Europe, first announced the development of the “SuperSonic” store in a June 2018 YouTube channel interview with The Tech Chap.
Realme explained that it will also present four distinct advancements—charging power, battery technology, converter size, and energy-saving design—that helped shape the most recent advancements in fast charging technology. The Realme GT Neo 5 was unveiled in China with a 240W charging speed, one of the company’s earlier fast charging inventions.
The Realme GT 7 Pro, one of the first smartphones in the world to utilise Qualcomm’s future 4th-generation Snapdragon 8 CPU, will go on sale alongside the “SuperSonic” charging function.
