The official Hounds of War trailer for XYZ Films’ latest action movie, which stars Frank Grillo from The Purge, has officially been released.
“The film is about the best military mercenaries money can buy,” reads the film’s synopsis. “Known as ‘The Hounds,’ they are sent on a final mission by their creator: a carefully planned trap set up to destroy them.”
When is the Hounds of War release date?
On September 20, 2024, Hounds of War will be accessible for purchase or rental on digital platforms. Jean Pierre Magro wrote the screenplay, which is directed by Isaac Florentine. Robert Patrick (Terminator 2: Judgement Day), Steven Elder (The King), Rhona Mitra (Doomsday), Joey Ansah (The Bourne Ultimatum), Yvonne Mai (Vikings: Valhalla), Lee Charles (Gangs of London), Mark Strange (Ip Man 4), Raha Rahbari (Blackbird), Leeshon Alexander (Blood on the Crown), and more star alongside Grillo.
In addition to Hounds of War, Grillo is currently contracted to play alongside Lou Diamond Phillips and Katrina Law in the upcoming horror movie Werewolves, which is scheduled for release at some point this year. In addition, he will play Rick Flag Sr. in the highly anticipated upcoming DC Studios films Superman, starring David Corenswet, and the animated series Creature Commandos.
