The Vivo V40 and V40 Pro, the company’s upcoming midrange smartphones, will shortly be available in India. The Vivo V30 smartphone series, which debuted in March of this year, will be replaced by the next generation of smartphones. The Vivo V40 has already made its debut in the European market, and it is anticipated that the Indian variant would have comparable features.

Vivo V40, V40 Pro: Anticipated features

The slimmest phone with a 5,500mAh battery, the Vivo V40 series, is set to come in India, according to a report by 91Mobiles. Additionally, the smartphone series will be dust- and water-resistant with an IP68 classification. This proves the Vivo V40 Indian version’s specifications are probably going to be the same as the European version.

The incoming Vivo V40 Pro was also observed by MySmartPrice on the Geekbench listing, where it scored 5,229 points in multi-core tests and 1,811 points in single-core testing. The description also states that the phone would come pre-installed with Android 14 and have 8GB of RAM. Additionally, an octa-core processor—possibly the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 Plus—with a maximum clock speed of 3.35GHz is probably going to power it.

The V2347 model number for the Vivo V40 Pro, which is identical to the one seen on Geekbench, is also verified by the Bluetooth SIG certification. A 3D curved display and an Infinity Eye Camera module with Zeiss Optics for multi-focal portraits may also be included in the Vivo V40 series.

The Indian market is anticipated to see the release of the V40 series next month.
