The Lenovo-owned brand unveiled the Moto G85 5G, its newest 5G product, in India on Wednesday. With up to 12GB of RAM, the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 CPU powers the latest Moto G series phone. It has a dual rear camera system with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 6.67-inch pOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. A 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging capabilities powers the Moto G85 5G. It appears that the Moto S50 Neo, which was revealed in China last month, is the new phone’s name.

Moto G85 5G price in India

The base model of the Moto G85 5G, which comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage, will cost Rs. 17,999 in India. The most expensive model costs Rs. 19,999 and comes with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. There are three colorways available: Urban Grey, Cobalt Blue, and Olive Green. The phone will go on sale starting on July 16 at 12 p.m. IST through Flipkart, Motorola.in, and a few local retail locations.

When buying the Moto G85 5G, customers can choose to receive an instant bank discount of Rs. 1,000 or an exchange bonus of Rs. 1,000 based on the value of the old phone. As a result, the beginning price will effectively drop to Rs. 16,999. Additionally, customers are eligible for free EMI deals for a maximum of nine months.

The 6.67-inch full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) 3D curved pOLED screen of the dual SIM (nano) Moto G85 5G runs on Android 14 and has a refresh rate of 120Hz, a touch sampling rate of 240Hz, a peak local brightness of 1,600nits, and an aspect ratio of 20:9. Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protects the screen. It has a 12GB RAM, 256GB of UFS 2.2 inbuilt storage, an Adreno 619 GPU, and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 processor. Up to 24GB of virtual RAM can be added to the system by using unused storage.

The Moto G85 5G boasts twin rear cameras: an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera with a single LED flash and a 50-megapixel Sony Lytia 600 main sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) capability. For video chats and selfies, a 32-megapixel front camera is included.

The Moto G85 5G has Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, LTEPP, and a USB Type-C port as connectivity options. It is built with a water-repellent IP52 rating. Accelerometer, ambient light, e-compass, gyroscope, proximity, sensor hub, and SAR sensor are some of the sensors that are installed on board. The phone features a fingerprint sensor embedded in the touchscreen for biometric verification.
