iQOO is set to introduce the iQOO Z9 Lite, an entry-level smartphone, on July 15. Speculations suggest it might be a rebranded version of Vivo’s T3 Lite, boasting a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC processor and notable camera capabilities.

iQOO, which is swiftly gaining recognition in the affordable smartphone market, is gearing up to launch the latest addition to its Z series. The iQOO Z9 Lite will make its debut on July 15, as announced by the company’s CEO in a post on X (formerly known as Twitter). This smartphone is anticipated to be iQOO’s new entry-level device, complementing its latest lineup, which includes the iQOO 12, starting at ₹52,999; the Neo9 Pro, starting at ₹34,999; the Z9 5G, starting at ₹19,999; and the Z9x, starting at ₹14,999, all available on iQOO’s official website.

Nipun Marya, the CEO of iQOO India, hinted at a “Fully Loaded 5G experience” while showcasing an image of the Z9 Lite in a striking blue color. The image revealed a vertical dual rear camera setup, further piquing interest among potential buyers.

Although the company has not disclosed additional details about the smartphone or its specifications, rumors suggest that the Z9 Lite could be a rebranded version of Vivo’s T3 Lite. If these speculations prove accurate, the iQOO Z9 Lite will likely share a similar price range and specifications. The Vivo T3 Lite is available in two variants: the base model with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage priced at ₹10,499, and the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant priced at ₹11,499.

Operating on Funtouch OS 14, which is based on Android 14, the Vivo T3 Lite is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC CPU, which is constructed on a 6nm architecture. The phone features a dual rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies, it is equipped with an 8-megapixel front camera housed in a centered waterdrop notch. Additionally, the device is powered by a robust 5,000mAh battery, ensuring long-lasting performance.

As iQOO continues to expand its product lineup, the iQOO Z9 Lite is expected to appeal to consumers seeking a budget-friendly smartphone with reliable performance and advanced features. With its anticipated specifications and competitive pricing, the Z9 Lite could become a popular choice in the entry-level segment. The official launch on July 15 will provide more insights into this promising new addition to the iQOO family.
