County Riders Excel In The YEDA National Championship

A thorough programme called the Youth Equestrian Development Association (YEDA) helps riders advance their abilities and provides access to college programmes and scholarship opportunities. It provides scholarships, a platform for contests, seminars, events, and children equestrian riding.

Hallas participated in the Senior High Reserve Champion Team, was a Reserve National Champion for Team Rail Horsemanship, and won the National Championship for Individual Rail Horsemanship on her debut trip to the championships. Her efforts paid off, as she was awarded a $1,000 scholarship at Lake Erie College and a $2,500 renewable scholarship to the University of Findlay.

Hoffman competed in the Junior Ruby Rail tournament and placed fourth nationally with great success. She also competed in the Junior Ruby Pattern team competition, winning Reserve National Champion.

Bowers is familiar with YEDA Nationals having participated at the national level for a number of years. She finished sixth nationally in the Senior Sapphire Ranch Rail/Pattern Horsemanship competition. She also competed in the Senior Sapphire Ranch invitational round, winning first, which got her into the final solo ride, where she placed ninth.
