Finally announced, the new-generation Maruti Dzire will be on sale on November 11. It has a new design, a new Z-Series petrol engine that was derived from the Swift, and an interior arrangement that was influenced by the Swift as well as earlier models. The four main models of the new Dzire that Maruti is selling are the LXi, VXi, ZXi, and ZXi Plus.
A Fresh Design
In terms of design, the 2024 Dzire has now fully set itself apart from the Swift. In contrast to the Swift’s honeycomb pattern grille with a chrome strip, it features a wide grille with several horizontal slats. It has aggressively designed front bumper with restyled fog lamp housings and sleek LED headlights with horizontal DRLs.
The 2024 Dzire still has a fairly similar overall appearance and windowline to its previous iteration, but it has new 15-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. Additionally visible at the back of the new Dzire are Y-shaped LED tail lights that are connected by a chrome component.
Swift Inspired Cabin
The dashboard layout of the new-generation Dzire is the same as that of the Swift, despite the fact that it looks entirely different from the outside. The inside of the 2017 Dzire, in contrast to the Swift’s all-black interior, features imitation wooden accents on the dashboard and a dual-tone black and beige cabin theme. Even the flat-bottom steering wheel seen here is identical to that found in the Swift and Baleno, two other Maruti vehicles.
Features And Safety
The 2024 Dzire from Maruti comes with features including cruise control, an analogue driver’s display, auto air conditioning with rear vents, a 9-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, and a wireless phone charger. India’s first subcompact automobile with a single-pane sunroof is the Dzire.
Its safety equipment comes with rear parking sensors, electronic stability control (ESC), and six airbags as standard. Additionally, the Dzire has a 360-degree camera (category first) compared to the Swift.
Powertrain Options
The new 1.2-liter, three-cylinder Z series petrol engine, which made its debut on the new Swift, powers the 2024 Dzire.
